Leah Paterson
Myotherapist | Strength & Conditioning Coach | Personal Trainer | Cycle Coach
I am passionate about promoting health and wellness, a journey that has been shaped by my lifelong involvement in sports. Growing up, I dedicated myself to elite-level basketball, both as a player and coach, until two serious knee injuries led me to cycling. After finding success as an endurance track cyclist, I transitioned to road cycling and now enjoy recreational rides with my family, which keep me fit and active.
Before venturing into myotherapy and personal training, I spent fifteen years in the corporate world. I soon realised that office life wasn’t for me; I had a deep desire to help others. Transitioning to the health sector has been the most rewarding decision I’ve ever made, and I love every moment of it!
For over a decade, I’ve treated a wide range of clients and worked with various sports teams in AFL, NRL, Rugby Union, A-League Football, Netball, Cycling, and Basketball. My passion for cycling has also allowed me to serve as a soigneur at several professional races in Australia, including the Bay Crits, Cadel’s Road Race and the Herald Sun Tour.
Recently, I’ve developed a strong interest in women’s health issues, drawing from both my professional experiences and personal journey. I now focus on addressing and supporting women’s health concerns in my practice.
